The ARCS Seminar

The ARCS Seminar is the premier seminar of Algebras and Rings in Colorado Springs (ARCS). Regular participants sometimes refer to the seminar by the informal title of "Rings as Wings", due to the long-standing tradition of getting together after the presentation for dinner, drinks, and snacks (which often include some delicious Buffalo Wings).

The ARCS Seminar provides a forum for wide range of participants to learn more about algebraic topics and their connections to other areas of mathematics. As such, the ARCS Seminar welcomes talks on all aspects of algebra and algebraically-related mathematics, including such topics as Operator Algebras, C*-algebras, or von Neumann algebras.
